Military Affairs

Eric Minton has a lifelong family association with the U.S. military, but his expertise in this field evolved from his 12-year-long association with Off Duty Magazine. He started contributing to Off Duty as a travel writer in Britain and eventually edited their Welcome to Britain guides.

After the Gulf War in 1991, Off Duty began delving into more personnel and duty issues, and the editors called on Eric more than any other writer to develop those stories. Eventually, Eric was charged with developing and editing a special biannual edition of the magazine distributed to National Guard and Reserve units.
