Travel

Eric Minton has worked both sides of the fence as a travel writer.

In 1983 he worked as a contract writer for the State of Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Department. In addition to his duties writing press releases and brochure copy, Eric wrote a weekly newspaper column for the department profiling "Mini-Trips" around the state, and he provided several features of Oklahoma destinations.

During four years of living in England, Eric specialized in travel pieces, a specialty that prompted continuing assignments after he returned to the United States in 1989.
